Now, it is official. Fender has officially released the Elvis Costello Signature Jazzmaster, a guitar named after the respected singer-songwriter and musician par excellance. The new Costello guitar is modeled after the Fender guitar that Costello owned back in 1977.

The signature guitar is available in walnut finish in Nitrocellulose Lacquer for a price of $1,530. It comes with a classic strap and a deluxe brown hardshell case.

The Jazzmaster has undergone a lot of modifications over the last 30 years. However, it has managed to retain the best features of the guitar. It has an Alder body, Rosewood fretboard, Maple C-shaped neck, Vintage tremolo and vintage style machine heads. Of course it comes with a chrome hardware and 4-ply tortoise shell pickguard.
